My name is Meredith. Speculative fiction writer and journalist by day, cat blogger whenever I get a minute. Ever since a mother cat had four kittens under my parents’ front porch when I was a little girl, I’ve been a crazy cat lady. I have always been a curious cat myself, and spending so much time with these amazing animals has driven me to learn everything I can about them. Now, I want to share that information with fellow cat lovers.
I currently have two cats. Joon is a four-year-old dilute calico domestic short-hair with green-ish, amber-ish eyes. She is all kinds of trouble and I love her. A family friend rescued her off the street as a two-month-old kitten, but she was scared of their dogs, so they had to re-home her. She’s been my beloved little gremlin ever since.
Wednesday is a two-year-old black domestic short hair with green eyes and the tiniest white spot on her chest. She wants to eat all of the food and is an excellent snuggle buddy. I adopted her from the Bloomington Animal Shelter in Bloomington, Indiana. I highly recommend them if you’re looking to adopt in Monroe County.
